We visited the first annual Art Boca Raton on Friday. It’s being held in a tent at the International Pavilion of the Palm Beaches on the Research Park grounds of the Florida Atlantic University at 3450 NW 8th Avenue, Boca Raton, FL 33431, through the 21st of March.
Just a warning, it was not on the GPS in our car, but I found Waze was more helpful.

I am calling it, “The Little Show That Could …”. Considering it is the first year for this small show from Next Level Fairs, the organizers of Art Palm Beach, it was well attended. I also thought there was a good cross-section of international galleries exhibiting modern, contemporary and emerging art from the 20th and 21st centuries. Local galleries like, The Baker Sponder Gallery and Vertu Fine Art, were also present. I was surprised to notice that Rosenbaum Gallery wasn’t there to support their city’s first art fair, as their main gallery space resides in Boca Raton.

There are daily lectures on collecting, film screenings, artist presentations and art tours.

I see a lot of potential to grow in the coming years, it looks like it fills a niche in Boca Raton. Well done and congratulations.

Recommend,
Shanea
