Miami has a beautiful new restaurant reminiscent of a Parisian Bistro, displaying bold and playful artwork that is for sale. The crowd at Bagatelle is tres chic, but you shouldn’t go before 9pm to get the full impact.

Very beautiful crowd wearing the shortest of skirts with the highest of heels and Birkin and Chanel bags of course.

Champagne was flowing at many tables. The food was surprisingly good. The tuna tartar was nice, not great. The Hamachi Crudo was very good. The Branzino was delicious but on the small side. We also ordered frites with truffle oil and Parmesan cheese, and a side of mushrooms. We didn’t have any gluten because of Passover but the table next to us ordered a beautiful thin crust pizza which I would try next time. The Gnocchi also looked fabulous.

We had sorbet for dessert because of the holidays so it is difficult to comment on the desserts. There is a DJ playing music.

They have already had quite a few celebrities dining here according to the papers.

This is a new hot spot for Miami at 21st and Collins.

We will definitely come here again (Author’s Note: And we did! Read the newest review here).

Happy dining,
Shanea
