Bal Harbour Anniversary CelebrationBal Harbour celebrated in style on February 12th, with over 2,000 people strong taking part to toast the 70th Anniversary of the village. It was the perfect night to come out and enjoy a special concert, party and fireworks right on the beach near the jetty behind the Ritz Carlton, Bal Harbour. The original party was cancelled a few months back due to inclement weather and was rescheduled on a perfect night.

You got to come out and meet and greet your neighbours while enjoying some wine, champagne and savoury food stations along with passed hors’d ouerves. This event was exclusive for Bal Harbour residents and hotel guests. They even provided guests with cozy turquoise fleece blankets in case you got cold. Chairs, couches and tables were set up, but there was standing room only due to the large turnout.

Things ran smoothly thanks to the efforts of a strong Bal Harbour police presence. The new young mayor of Bal Harbour, Gabriel Groisman, along with tv’s meteorologist, Angie Lassman, introduced the festivities, and we were serenaded by the Palm Beach Symphony orchestra, along with a soprano singer, and a dance party with Carlos Olivia and Los Sobrinos del Juez.

There was a long and spectacular fireworks display over Bal Harbour Beach, followed by music and dancing. A great time was had by all. Let’s hope Bal Harbour won’t wait another 70 years to get the community out again.
