Allyson Bobbitt and Sarah Bell just might make THE most beautiful array of stunning wedding cakes and specialty cakes in the city of Toronto. The pair are highly sought after for their most beloved and exquisite and haute couture designs. Their special cakes really are a work of art. They can cost from $200- $15,000. They not only look unbelievable, they also taste great.

Lucky for us Bobbette & Belle have opened 2 storefront locations also serving the public. One is at 3347 Yonge Street in the Yonge and Lawrence Village area, and the one I popped into was located in the heart of Leslieville at 1121 Queen Street, East.

The space was quaint and homey, and bright and airy with a vintage feel to it. The pastry shop really is adorable and there are tables to eat in or you can take out. In their well-stocked display cases they offer things like, French macarons, the prettiest buttercream cupcakes, pastries, scones, cookies, tarts, and birthday cakes. You can wash these down with coffee, pressed espresso, teas and use their free wifi.

You can also purchase gifts like cake stands, homemade marshmallows and so on.
Their products are all baked from scratch and taste homemade. The scones and layered carrot cake were very delicious. The macaroons are pretty but I have tasted better. We took out their chocolate hazelnut cake which was quite stunning at ($50). It was moist and rich and buttery.

Bobbette & Belle use the finest ingredients and it really is such a cute bakery to sit, relax and try one of their decadent desserts. Tempt yourself.
Open daily from 9am.

Recommend.

Happy dining,
Shanea
