Considering the Oberoi Hotel is over ten years old it is in pristine shape. Clean and beautiful principal rooms as well as guest rooms. Ours was on the smaller side but lacked for nothing. Every room has a view of the beautiful gardens and pools and best of all the Taj Mahal. The staff are trained SO well and couldn’t do enough for us. There are two good restaurants. One is a more upscale Indian restaurant, and the other is more Italian/Indian, and more casual. The food is quite good, and the staff takes excellent care to see that you are well looked after.
They provide a golf cart and booties when visiting the Taj Mahal. I only wish we stayed another day to hang out and use the large gym and pretty spa. This hotel should be an example to all other chains on how to run a hotel and how to make their guests feel like a Maharaja.
