Most remarkable is the landscaping on 30 acres, the gardens, the pools and the fountains. There were peacocks roaming on the property. It also had breathtaking views of Lake Pichola.
It almost felt a little Disney-esque to me.
I was a little disappointed in our Premier Lake room with private lap pool. This would not normally be the case, but I did prefer my room at the Oberoi in Agra, and the Umaid Bawan Palace was the most amazing property I have ever stayed in, so I guess I am a little jaded.
Our room was a little on the small side, and it was not particularly beautiful.
But the principal rooms and architecture of the hotel made up for our room.
The restaurants on the property were nice, but not memorable. But, it was nice to dine outside at night with some local entertainment. The property also had a lovely spa.
It is a gorgeous, romantic property, truly luxurious.
