There’s plenty of rainy or cool days in Miami, maybe your kids have a school holiday, or, the standard, are just bored and with nothing to do. If any or all of these are the case, I have a great suggestion to keep them entertained!

I recently visited the Poppet Project, at 8650 Biscayne Blvd Unit 29. Located on 87th Street, it’s a children’s drop in for art, crafts, and science – a fabulous place to design, experiment, explore, create, and get your hands dirty with your kids or grandchildren. The projects change daily.

On the day we visited they offered painting, crafts, making slime, creating slime bubbles, colouring and so on. They also offer science experiments and sewing. Their goal is to provide a safe and creative environment that fosters your child’s imaginations. They also offer parties (they have a private room where you can bring in your own food and drinks), at $37 per child with a minimum of ten kids, that comes with a team leader and use of the studio, along with the public, for 2 hours, or you can rent out the entire studio for $1200.

Go on their website to check out their pricing. For us it was $14 per hour for one child and additional children were $12. Extra time there cost more. They are planning on opening additional studios and will eventually offer franchises.

Our grandkids LOVED the experience and were focused on their creations. They did not want to leave!

Highly Recommend!
