Day or night, Ugo Rondinone‘s Miami Mountain is an iconic, landmark installation. It is located on the Southeast corner of Collins Park, at 2100 Collins Avenue, where the Bass Museum of Art is located. It is a massive and impressive sculpture consisting of five Nevada limestone boulders painted in bright Day-Glo colours. Reaching 41 feet high, it really draws you to it. It will remain there permanently. It is a great representation of the artist’s work and will leave a lasting impression for all those who see it.
