Piripi Restaurant :: Coral Gables, Miami (NOW CLOSED)

Piripi is Merrick Park's newest eatery. It reminded me of an upscale Bar Isabel from Toronto. But the decor, service and quality of food is better.

Four Seasons :: Punta Mita

I didn’t know what to expect as I had not been to Punta Mita before. I know the resort was over 16 years old. Well I was not disappointed. The grounds are magnificent, with lush foliage, and wonderful sculptures throughout.

Loew’s Regency :: New York

One block from Barney's and the shops on Madison Ave. and 2 1/2 blocks from Bloomingdale's. Close to some wonderful restaurants as well. The newly renovated hotel looks great, with some of the largest bedrooms in New York.

J.K. Place Hotel :: Capri

We have stayed at the J.K. Place Capri since the second year it has been opened. The hotel is still exquisite. It is like Ralph Lauren does Italy. We feel like we are staying at someone's private Palazzo on the sea. The views are magnificent.

Yonge and Summerhill is full of cute little neighbourhood restaurants. A favourite of mine is Quanto Basta. It is a small narrow room with a tiny kitchen and bar as part of the action. The owner and servers are friendly and make you feel like you are eating in their home.
