As a Canadian, I focus mainly on my hometown of Toronto and my second home in Miami, also journeying frequently to New York and Italy, but nothing is off-limits for me. My love for food has led me here, to share all things I savour – and I will continue to search out the best and most impresssive, highlight culinary excellence, with dishes that inspire me and regional specialties, feature art, hotels, and current trends, and offer my experience on where to roam, where to stay and where to dine all over the world.

Addison :: Del Mar, San Diego

The chef uses luxe ingredients from Southern California or imports them from places like Haikodo Japan and using skillful technique and glorious presentations, along with genuine hospitality and gracious service, it was a memorable meal indeed.

TRUSS :: Calistoga, Napa Valley, California

I'm not a big fan of hotel restaurants but what made TRUSS stand out was the executive chef was in residence and cooking in the kitchen. 3 Michelin- starred chef Erik Anderson, formerly of Coi in San Francisco, has taken on an all day menu which is no easy task.

Exciting news! Following much anticipation, the Four Seasons has finally opened their property in Calistoga at 400 Silverado Trail, Napa Valley. A stay here is a one of a kind experience: An inviting hideaway offering a superior level of comfort.

Restaurant De Jonkman :: Bruges, Belgium

Another highly anticipated and much lauded restaurant we visited was De Jonkman, a two star Michelin and Greenstar Michelin. An 18/20 Gault Millau rated gem, located just on the outskirts of Bruges. Set in a pretty Flemish villa, where the chef and owner Filip Claeys and his wife Sandra treat you to inventive, seasonal cuisine.

The Jane :: Antwerp, Belgium

At the Jane, Antwerp there is a sense of entertainment and theatre; where fine dining meets rock and roll. It's subtle and not overdone. It was an outstanding dinner, with a perfect backdrop. Chef Bril is successfully setting new standards for gastronomy and The Jane, Antwerp is certainly one of the most glamorous and trendiest restaurants in Europe, but also a world class dining experience.

At Crown Shy in New York the food was satisfying and the presentations were nice but nothing knocked it out of the park. It was pleasant and an excellent choice if you work or live in the area.

Asiatiko in Aventura, Florida is a kosher game changer. Who knew, a cool, tasty, kosher spot is in Aventura. I guess you must expect the unexpected. Well done.
